Ryan Kalin is a music educator, performer, and writer/composer from Woodbridge, New Jersey.
Ryan is currently a student pursuing a double major in Music Education (Voice) from Rutgers' Mason Gross School of the Arts and English from the SAS Honors Program.
He is an active performer and music director in the local New Jersey and regional theatre scene, with some favorite production credits including Great Comet (MD), Company (MD), tick, tick... BOOM! (MD), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Composer/MD), RENT (Roger), and The Prom (Barry).
Ryan has served as the Music Coordinator at Rutgers' Cabaret Theatre and Music Director of Rutgers' Deep Treble. Additionally, he recently celebrated the premiere of his original musical, Macbeth: A Musical Adaptation.
Ryan thrives at the intersection of theatre and education, and he strives to share musical and theatrical arts with his community in empowering ways.
